The reason that we are seeking clarification is because the more selective the school the more likely they will not use your weighted gpa (they will use the straight grades). This because more weight is given to what you do day in-day out (including rigor, and challenging courses) over 4 years than SAT, you can possibly come up with a different list of schools.

If you want my FULL rubric of everything I’ve done, I have it saved on Microsoft excel.

If anyone’s willing to help me out and look through it you could PM me your email address?
thanks.

American U and NYU will be pretty safe bets for you, and should meet most of your criteria.
Northwestern is another good choice to look into.

okay thanks!
yeah i really do like northwestern
nyu’s complete lack of a campus scares me a bit though, other than that its pretty sweet.

If you really like Northwestern, you should also chek out WUSTL (though they do not have a school of public health)

Your GPA, per se, is not that important since schools have different methods of calculating it. What will probably be more important is your class rank and you are clearly in the top 10% of your class.

Have you considered Johns Hopkins?

Would you consider west coast or Texas? If you want diversity the UC’s offer that-UC San Diego is often mentioned as a very strong school for bio and health professions. And San Diego is a glorious place–beaches and perfect weather and a short distance from Mexico.

I like Northwestern as a fall-back, I absolutely could not live in Missouri, too much family in baltimore (i know for a fact i would be asked to babysit and such). Plus my parents won’t let me apply in California.
(My mom has the irrational fear that I will be swallowed up by an earthquake)

:)
do you think i have a decent chance at the schools i’ve chosen mom’s?

I think you will get into at least a couple of schools on your list, but you should have a better safety than Northwestern ;)…

haha i will don’t worry
lol i know that’s def not a safety school
u mich ann arbor i like…
