Hello, fellow College Confidential people!
I want to go to college for music production - my dream is to one day own my own record company and put together the world's greatest co-ed pop group.

I'm experienced in composition, music theory, and I sing.
I also play Piano, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Mandolin, Guitar, Piano/Harpsichord, Balalaika, Taishokoto/taishogoto, Didgeridoo, and Harmonica, and will soon come into possession of a Hang Drum and a Cello.

I lack knowledge in making music digitally (I also lack the money to do so. I come from a rather poor family, the instruments I own are mostly secondhand gifts).

i need to know what college I can go to that will teach me the business skills AND the music production skills needed in order to become successful in the music industry today (either of this country of any other country with a powerful music industry).

I have currently found these colleges, but many of them are horribly out of my price range. I'm not sure what scholarships I should go for, nor am I able to comprehend how to go about applying for financial aid.

I have these colleges in mind.

NYU Steinhardt
Ithaca College
Berklee
Malone (except I'm gay, and not a very devout christian, so I don't know if they'll allow me in ...but it's the most affordable one)
and Full Sail University.

Any others I should apply to? Music Production is such a little touched upon topic.. :/
