here are the stats for my sister (whose going to be a sophomore at dartmouth next year)
hispanic female
gpa-95.7ish
soccer, national honor society, volunteered at soup kitchens, tutored other students and much more. took something like 4 or 5 APs
i don't know her SATs scores but i would say she did fairly well (nothing overly impressive though)
I would say that you have a very good chance at getting in.

Although you are applying URM, I would consider Darthmouth a slight reach due to your weak extracurriculars. Do you have any leadership positions, special talents, or any significant awards?Hispanic applicants to the ivy leagues have gotten alot more competitive over the years. You may have a chance in getting in to the lower Ivies such as Emory and maybe Darthmouth, however more prestigious ivies such as Harvard, Yale, and Princeton are reaches. The so called "top colleges" of today are looking for those who have commitment in one or two certain clubs or areas, which you seem to lack. Also your class ranking will probably hurt you alot considering most admit freshman classes in which 90-98 percent are in he top 10 percent of their highschool.

Glucose101, you know the so-called "crap-shoot" admissions are, no one can say with any authority that you are totally in or out, but historically, your stats seem to give you at least a chance at this and other prestigious private schools (although, I dont quite know what it is you are saying your class rank is). Make yourself shine in your essay and take care in selecting recommendations.

Glucose, I would say you have an excellent chance. I am half Hispanic. I had high SAT scores, and a relatively low (for Dartmouth, that is) class rank, and I got in ED. ED is the clincher... they want to grab the URMs while they can.

Thanks all! I hate my rank...and extracurriculars, though I'm totally involved in Student Council, but I doubt that would count for anything because I don't have a leadership position and it is a pretty generic club.

how can you be in student council and not have a leadership position? student council, as representing your classmates, is by definition a council of leaders. (I was a perennial Treasurer)
