My son is taking a gap year before going to law school. He plans to apply this fall for a fall 2017 start. Before I look at individual law school websites, I thought I’d ask knowledgeable people on this thread about law school interviews. Do top 10 law schools require in-person interviews or will they accept Skype interviews?
Generally, no interviews required. If qualified, Harvard will contact applicants for a 15 minute phone interview.
Northwestern requires interviews only for ED applicants:

very helpful, thanks!
Our son was waitlisted at two of his top schools and initiated interviews with the Deans of Admissions. He was subsequently accepted at both schools (Penn and Duke). He will be a 2L at Duke this coming fall and is very happy with his choice.
