I made it as a finalist in Questbridge. They just informed me a few days ago.

I have 6 colleges ranked on a list that I am applying to EA/ED.

My question is this... How does Questbridge work?

So I am allowed to apply to multiple schools ED. And then the school that accepts me and is ranked highest on my list is the one that I must go to?
Do I get to choose the school?

If I get in a school EA, lets say Princeton. and then get into a school ED, lets say Penn.
Will I go to the one that is ranked highest? Or do I have to go to Penn no matter what since ED is binding...

Thanks in Advance!

Whatever school you are matched with, you must go to that school, unless it’s non-binding.
If you are accepted to more than one, your highest ranked school is the one with which you are matched.
Even if your highest ranked school is non-binding, you only get one match.
You cannot apply anywhere else, but the school you matched, if you want to be considered for the National College Match.

As a finalist, you cannot apply to any schools early (aside from the Match process). You need to rank your schools in the order of preference for attending. You may be matched with your 8th choice school and yes, you would be required to attend (if it is not MIT, Stanford, Princeton, or Yale - all non-binding schools). After the match process, if you have not been matched, you may apply to any school regular decision. I believe you can also apply to any rolling admissions school now and not have to wait.
