In-School Suspension

I have received one day of ISS for a bullying problem.

Basically it was a "wrong place at the wrong time" situation, where the instigators pretty much put the entire blame on me, as I was the only one that received a punishment. I'm wondering-will this affect my chances of getting admitted into colleges? I heard you don't have to include ISS in your transcript, as you're not actually kicked out of school. Is this true? Thanks for replying!

My son had a couple of them. It probably depends on the school, put ours does not put it in the student’s record that goes to colleges.

Ok thank you- I think my school has the same policy.
