% In-state attendees Compared to OOS, Internationals, Etc

Hello folks,
Does anyone have a sense of what percentage of the students (undergrad) are in-state residents as opposed to everyone else?

86% in-state, 9% out of state and 5% International

HEAVY in-state student population.

Is this because there are less out of state applicants… or is there a cap on OOS? My son is dreaming of USF and we are not from Florida. Thanks for any info!

@Jrmedicine It’s not a cap issue… it is usually less expensive for students to stay in their home state. However, FL has among the lowest tuition in the U.S., so it is still very appealing to OOS and INT students.
