hopefully 2-3 more ap's and honors classes senior year
live in competative area of the state

thanks

i think ur in lol. 4.5 is really good. ur SAT score is like mine though so it could improve. whats ur rank

my rank is top 10% i think i'm between 25 and 30 out of 380 students
the only reason i worry about admissions is my sat...i heard that a kid from my school didnt get into unc and he had either a 4.2 or 4.3 (i forget) with a 1320 sat but he only took 1 ap class w/not a lot of ec's

that scares me. i have a 3.93 gpa and 1820 and i only took 1 ap class my junior year. but im taking 5 my senior year and im gonna retake my SATs in october

yeah i'm retaking in october too good luck and btw unc has put out their essay prompts online if u wanted to check those out.

yeah thanks. i've already written 2 paragraphs for my long essay yay!! too bad i think my essay sucks. hopefully i'll get english 12 first semester!! i need it sooooooo badddd

well......I am a student at Carolina right now and the only problem I see is the S.A.T. scores of 1840 totally..... Yes it is true that in state students get in more often with less stringent requirements than out of staters but with only a 1840 you are on the border line........lots of good extra curriculars/community service activities that involve leadership look fantastic on the UNC applications......anyways don't worry about the sats if you are 100% sure that your extra curriculars will pass with flying colors.....if you have any other questions about admissions or student activities or anything else just email me at mdmcrae@email.unc.edu and I will answer them for ya......
