GPA is good if weighted, 3.1 is a little low.
ACT is great.
SAT is a little low.
EC’s are plentiful.
6 AP’s = great (what did you get on the AP tests?)
Class rank is good.

You should be alright. I give you 75% chance. Make sure your essay bleeds scarlet and gray.

4 on stats and 3 on euro so far.

Nevermind guys… 2.95 uw gpa :frowning: counselor told me wrong

^^^
Which GPA does the counselor report on your transcript (weighted or unweighted)?
Does TOSU recalculate GPA if weighted GPA is reported by the counselor?

28 is the average act of last year’s freshman class. I think you’ll need a better score to compensate for the lower gpa.

Ours shows weighted and unweighted. And I think I did 30+ on last weeks test.

Moved up to a 31 on act:)

Pretty sure you’ll get in now.

A lot of state schools have ‘formulas’ like the percentage of your class rank plus the percentage of your ACT/SAT has to exceed some minimum. Does OSU have that?

Not that I have found. I know Iowa does do you know of any others?

Missouri does. Their numer is 140. So 50% class rank means you have to test 90% or higher SAT/ACT. I am not sure how gpa figures in.

My guess is that many states have some formula like this.

It would make sense and make the admissions process much easier
