In-state scholarships

When should I expect to see scholarships by? Have any Ohio residents received any awards/notification of honors and scholars yet? Thanks.

I received an acceptance email about three-four weeks ago followed by a letter discussing my merit scholarships about a week later. Three of my classmates apply EA, too; one heard back about two weeks after me and the other two have not heard anything. (Not sure if it matters, but my GPA, ACT, class rank, etc. were higher than my classmates, and the only other one that has been accepted is the second highest out of the four.) I do not know if she has received scholarship information.
As for Honors and Scholars, I just checked and the website says they release the decisions rolling between mid-January and mid-April.
And yes, I am an Ohio resident.

^ ah. I just received acceptance two days ago, so I should expect to see my merit aid in a week? Also, do you mind giving s brief overview of your stats/amount of merit aid?

I received the Maximus Scholarship ($6,000 per year). I have 4.0 UW GPA (school doesn’t weight), tied for first in my class, and 35 ACT.
I do not know when to tell you to expect your merit aid offer, but if you just received your acceptance, do not worry. I would assume you should get the scholarship letter in the next week or two, but you never know for sure.

Daughter got acceptance letter in November (late) still nothing on scholarships. No one we knw has gotten scholarships yet and most were Early Admisssion. Hope we hear something soon.

@mlb5252 damn. I thought 34+ on ACT is full tuition for in-state?

No, its my understanding that the Maximus (which is for 32+) is the most that OSU offers without a separate application. There is another scholarship (Eminence) that is a full ride and then some, but it requires an application. I think that generally it is given to students with 34+.
