I just applied today, So I was wondering what my chances were. I'm looking to transfer into The UT Austin school of Natural Sciences as a Mathematics major next Fall (2010). I will have 32 Credits by the end of Spring 2010, and my Fall 2009 GPA at UT Dallas was a 3.93 (I had an A- in Chemistry). I think I had a harder than average course schedule for a Freshman, Since I'm taking Chemistry as my Science Electives.

The classes I took in Fall:

General Chemistry I with Chem I Lab (CHEM 1311 and 1111)
Government I (GOVT 2301)
Intro to UT Dallas Class (RHET 1101)
UT History to Civil War (HIST 1301)
Calculus 1 (MATH 2413)

My Spring 2010 Classes are

General Chemistry II with Chem II Lab (CHEM 1312 and 1112)
Government II (GOVT 2302)
Rhetoric and Composition (RHET 1302)
Calculus II (MATH 2414)
Principles of Macroeconomics (ECON 2301)

I'm an middle class Asian American male with no extraneous circumstances. I haven't actually done my resume yet, but I think that I did pretty well on my two essays. And I'm hoping the rigor of my classes and my GPA will set me apart from the other people trying to apply to the same major. I'm not totally sure how competitive Mathematics is.
