i have attended California schools all my life up until my second semester of sophomore year. i had to move to Ohio and i had my heart set on attending a UC or CSU school but now it would be so expensive!! is there any way possible that i can get in-state tuition even though i graduated in ohio?

Your residency status isn’t determined based on the school you graduated from, but I don’t think you would qualify as a California resident. And there is unfortunately no way (at least not that I am aware of) to get in-state tuition if you aren’t a California resident.

it will take you two years. “Unmarried undergraduates from other states qualify as financially independent if they were not claimed by their parents or others as dependents for tax purposes for two preceding tax years and if their annual income is sufficient to meet their needs.”
