Newb question I know <__< but I've seen it used a lot around here and I am little confused as to how it should it be applied.

Like, how does a "high match" compare to a "low match" and such?

Thanks

“match” usually means that the school is on-par with one’s stats, and he or she will likely get in but not with certainty.

“high match” is similar, but the chances are slightly less. “low match” means acceptance is very likely, but not so much so that one would call it a safety.

I see…so essentially you want to be matched to a school and the lower you are matched the more likely you are to get into that school?

Yep .
