In terms of employment does it really matter where you get your degree in geology?

Hello, I just declared myself as a geology major at the end of my freshman year of college. I took some geology courses there and loved it. I now have a predicament on my hands. I am debating whether I should transfer or not. The thing is my college isn't really well known for its geology program but the thing keeping me from transferring is that I love the environment pf my college and I met so many awesome people here. I am debating transferring to a college with a better geology program but I am still doubtful since I love my college life currently so much. So tell me, do you think where you get your bachelor's in geology really matter in terms of employment?
