yea safe again- except i got so freaked out cause my mailman put all of our mail in front of our door (he does that when we have a package) rather than in the mailbox, so i ran out to my mailbox several time (in the snow flurries by the way) before i finally realized where it was.

this can't go on for much longer- i swear i am stressing WAY to much... and i am normally a very laid back person

listen to this, last year my friend applied to dream school ND and got a huge package around ad. decisions time that said "From the office of admissions at the University of Notre Dame" on the front. So he tore it open and all it was was financial aid stuff. He got in a week later, but boy was he po'd at first!

My friend got a letter from St. John's (one of his top choices i believe) that started with: "Congratulations! We've received all of you materials and have begun reviewing your application"

People are saying that they are hoping not to receive mail from Mich right now -- that's because they send out deferrals on days other than Friday or Thursday?

My app was completed (according to the site) on 10/31 and I'm still waiting (NJ). When should I hope to receive a letter?

Right I understand that. I wasn't being clear in my post. What I meant to ask was: are there any particular days of the week when I should hope to not receive something from Michigan (because it would be something other than an acceptance on that given day)?

deferrals are done only through the mail, and not posted online (so we are all assuming). therefore, if there is no decision link online, its better to hope for no mail from michigan.
