im trying for 2000 or 2100

just to be a lockin or shoe in at BU
becuz i need to get into BU!
plzzzz can i take jan sat
can someone tell me
im rush reporting
and studyig for SAT with my otha finals

1900 is a good score I think you will have a good chance for CGS, but as one who applied to CGS myself we probably would have to consider those with really high stats ( like near yours) who do not get into CAS so BU sends them to CGS and then there is less room for the typical applications who only applied to CGS.

if u apply directly u can surely take up a spot

because they gotta review each and every CAS , smg, eng, kids applyin to oither BU schools

kids who apply strictly to CGS will be evaluated and will be placed if their stats match with the stats like on the bu website,
/activites/ecs
so the chance of acceptance isnt higher
but we will be placed right into cgs pool
instead of beiung deferred to cgs after a review of our app
and plus no one is answering me’
i need to rock out on my SAT for january 23rd for bu
becuz i highly doubt 1900 is good its like a dog poop score
im so depressed
all my friends have 2200+
so a 2100ish wud make me more comfortable applying to CGS

coollbreeze ask more ppl who applied directly like u and me
i dont think ur right at all no offense

This is utterly ridiculous sat4lyfe. I don’t know what is the cause behind your state of panic, but I can tell you that it is completely irrational. A 3.6 unweighted GPA with a decently rigorous schedule and a 1900 SAT is above the averages for CGS (on both counts). You’re also assuming that you will easily be able to get 2100+ on the SATs which, if I may be able to induce such things from the way you write your posts, seems highly unlikely. I do not mean to discourage you on that account, but I would gauge you as having a reasonable chance at admission for CGS even with your, supposedly, ‘low’ score. I highly doubt that even if you had that type of a jump in your SAT score, it would be a considerable difference. As well, while I’m not going to discourage you from taking the SAT once more in January, I would highly recommend that you get out of your irrational disposition because, quite frankly, there’s no reason for you to be worrying.

I applied to SMG (School of Management, I declared my major as Entrepreneurship).
Well to answer the 2nd question, I talked to my counselor about my chance at BU and he said that there were ppl getting in with 3.0 UW. Most likely thats last year though.

Yea. If my gpa and scores were higher I would consider USC or NYU but those two schools are really competitive. Still, BU is a really nice school and its now my #1 choice now

i did apply to NYU and USC as well but I doubt ill get in. I did business for both USC and NYU. Im not too interested in liberal studies but if I get rejected to business and placed in liberal studies, Ill take it.
