In what order should I take these math classes...?

I am a high school Junior who has the opportunity to take community college classes my last 2 years of high school. I will be taking 6 quarters of math in the next 2 years and I am not sure what order I should take them in. They are: Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Calculus 3, Calculus 4, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations. I plan to take Calculus 1-3 the first three quarters, but I am not sure what to do after that. Also, I want to go into computer science or business when I transfer to a 4 year university. Thanks in advance for your help.

Typically, you can take Linear Algebra and Differential Equations only after you have completed Calc 3. In some schools, you can take Linear Alg after Calc 2. So, you should probably take Calc 1, Calc 2, Calc 3, and then Linear, then Calc 4, then Diff EQ. You should check to see what the prerequisites are for Linear Alg and Diff EQ.

If you are going into Computer Science, you will probably need all these courses (perhaps not Calc 4). If you are going into business, you probably won’t need anything above Calc 2.
