In what *ORDER* should you apply for housing on eliving?

Lets say you want an SLO and not a dorm, no possible roommate YET (working on it) and location is the third option asked. To maximize your chances should it be" SLO, Roommate, Location? And if your roommate possibility goes to another school ..Should it be SLO, Location, Roommate? Seems like common sense but I cant figure out how Penn State makes their decisions. If you don't get your SLO would you get your third choice location? Or would you fall to the bottom of the list? BELIEVE62

Only you can decide what is important to you. If you really want SLO, and that’s your 1st preference, then put it down. But you need to ask yourself: If the SLO is in North, would I still be happy? If the SLO is in West, would I still be happy? etc. etc. etc. If the answer is yes to all, then obviously you want SLO to be your first choice. If the answer is no to any of them, you need to rethink. If you haven’t picked a roomate yet, then make that your third choice. You have time later on, to go back into e-living and update with your roomate’s name and id #. My son wanted to be in East for his freshman year, so for him it was easy…location was his #1 choice.
