In what order will you be checking ivy decisions?

Dartmouth, Brown, columbia,Princeton, Yale, Harvard. (opposite of order of preference)

I know I’m going to freak people out by saying this, but I think Harvard sends out batches of emails at around the same time - ie. they send acceptances out first, then waitlist/rejections.

I got my Harvard email at like 5:00 on the dot - but several of my friends had to wait until like 5:30 only to be rejected :(.

Also, a lot of sites have trouble loading - so your order will probably get screwed up. But it’s fun and exciting - YAY!

Lmbo
Cornell (I already got accepted)- It’ll just you know MAKE me feel like I did something
Penn
Columbia
Princeton

Smh I don’t know. I’m so calm right now.

@Skywalker23 and @BeautifulNerd219, I applied to the same Ivies as you!

Just out of curiosity, did anyone apply to all eight? You have my gold star :O

My order of preference is Princeton, Cornell, Columbia, UPenn, so I will either check in that order or in reverse order… assuming all are available at the same time. I have no delusions that it’ll be as simple as clicking “login”. I’m ready to stare at the screen for a while waiting for it to load, if you get my drift.

its sort of nice that harvard emails us their decision, as oppose to signing in to a school server… i truly hope that the server for princeton wont crash…

Dartmouth -> Princeton
I know i’m not supposed to have any expectations, but i’ll be mildly disappointed if I dont get into either.

Dartmouth (likely, so just a boost of confidence), Columbia (likely), Harvard, Yale, Princeton.

Cornell, Penn, Brown, Princeton, Yale, Columbia

I’m hoping to get into Cornell or Penn before checking the others. Then my rejection from Columbia won’t be so bad.

I applied to Penn, Columbia, Princeton, and Harvard. I’ve already been accepted to Barnard, which is essentially equivalent to Columbia, so I don’t particularly care about Columbia or Penn, since Penn was lower down on my list. So basically I’m going to check Princeton first, then Harvard whenever I get the email, since it won’t be exactly at 5. Princeton likes my school, while Harvard HATES us, so I’m not very optimistic for Harvard, but I think I’m dangerously attached to Princeton…

I might wait a little after 4 actually.
Maybe I should just hang out with friends after school a bit, like 'till 4:30, to give the servers some time to cool down

Columbia (hope the likely offer wasn’t rescinded).
Dartmouth
Penn
Princeton
Yale
Harvard.

I’m going easy hard easy hard hard hard hard

Cornell, Penn, Dartmouth, Columbia, Princeton, Yale, Harvard

^@powerbomb

I’d switch Dartmouth and Cornell.

Otherwise, NICE.

I’m not really sure how I’ll check. I applied to Princeton, Brown, and Dartmouth. Any order suggestions?

^ Dartmouth -> Princeton -> Brown

Honestly, I have no idea… I applied to Dartmouth, Brown and Cornell. I think I’ll do Cornell last because if I got rejected from Cornell and I looked at it first, then I’d be devastated because that’s basically a rejection at the other two. I think I’ll do:

Dartmouth –> Brown –> Cornell

@eating food
Why do you say go in that order?

i really love your name @eating food

Dartmouth -> Princeton

Don’t figure I’ll get into either, but one never knows. Found out late that my peer rec was incredibly lackluster. My Pton application was pretty strong, so we’ll see.

Cornell (figure my odds aren’t bad since I got into Chicago and Northwestern), then Princeton (no way in hell), then finally Harvard, where I think my odds are slightly better than Princeton, because my interview went much better than Princeton’s did and they also got the essay that got me accepted into U Chicago, whereas for Princeton I wrote two pretty crappy essays in my opinion.
