I think I’m checking Harvard, Columbia, Princeton, Yale, and Penn. Throwing Columbia in there a bit early to make up for the likely Harvard tragedy, haha.

well, my plan failed. i didn’t care about dartmouth so i waited. harvard’s e-mail didn’t send right away. columbia’s site crashed for a bit. yale’s link wasn’t up. princeton’s was fine.

checked princeton first - rejected.
checked dartmouth cuz all the other ones weren’t working - accepted.
checked harvard cuz e-mail came - rejected.
checked columbia cuz site went up - waitlisted.
i was feeling pretty bad right about now cuz all that was left was yale and i thought i had the least shot there, but what the heck right?
opened up yale’s link, a giant blue screen with a bulldog pops up congratulating me. i stare at it in awe thinking “this can’t be right,” and my econ teacher proceeds to question why i’m looking so intently at the computer and not paying attention in class.

…but in the end i still might choose stanford :D

I stuck to my order as best as I could
Lol ended up being
Penn- b/c I already knew I had Cornell and didn’t wanna waste time…so I figured I’d get the rejection out of the way (but was accepted to my surprise)
Princeton- b/c Columbia wasn’t up so I was waiting for my rejection (but was accepted AGAIN…what a cruel joke I was thinking lol)
Columbia- b/c it was last besides Cornell but still wasn’t working (by then I was so happy to get into the other 2 but felt that I wouldn’t get in b/c of a typo…yeah I know right…but I got in!)

Today is amazing. Tomorrow’s Good Friday and my anniversary with my boyfriend :-)
