i applied personal-app-style, submitted on the 12th, and today the tracker says all my stuff is in.

so, to those of you who have applied, how long did it take after your materials were all in for a decision to go up?

C’mon man, read the other threads, lol. This has been asked and answered a bunch of times. It varies quite a bit, and now that it is close to the EA notification deadline, it cannot take longer than 4weeks. If you applied EA, that is. You don’t say that you did.

I applied over 4 weeks ago and the app status has said that my application is complete for over 3 weeks now, still no decision posted…

nasty: Read Fallenchemist’s above reply!

Really, you think that is nasty? That’s nothing compared to tons of stuff on CC. You have a very low bar for what you consider nasty. Just encouraging people to try reading a bit first rather than clogging up the boards with repetitive threads.

for me mine was listed as complete on saturday and then i was accepted today! so 4 days

FC: No, I wanted Nasty850 to read your post rather than asking the same question once again.

haha my name is getting confusing…
but I wasn’t asking a question so much as giving the first person’s post an example of how much of a crapshoot the time of notifications are

Yeah mine took 4 business days and I applied about two weeks ago. So hopefully you’ll find out soon.

UGAdawg: Oooops, my apologies. Guess I should look at the names more carefully, lol. Actually that’s kind of funny though.

Bottom line, at this point no one can expect anything before the deadline. They might well get something sooner, but it is pretty close anyway.

Remember everyone, Tulane sends decisions out as if it were rolling admissions, but that is a courtesy on their part. They only promise decisions by Dec 15 and April 1 for SCEA/EA and RD respectively.

And as has been said before, its possible that some that are clear admits might get the nod sooner than some who are not. They might wait a bit to see what the other applicants look like (just hypothesizing-- I have no data on this) Better to wait a few days for an admit than get a faster response that is a deferral or rejection, IMO.

oh that kind of makes sense, but that would also suck since I was told by my advisers that tulane was a safety -_-

FYI, I just heard back today. Four business days after all my stuff was in, the results are online. I’m in!

How are guys getting access to an online tracker? I was never sent an email or anything with that…

Everyone says it is obscurely buried in some early thing they sent you. Check some of your early e-mails and letters if you saved them. Otherwise you might have to call admissions to get the info, which has apparently been a bit of a challenge for some.

How are you guys been notified? Through email or that online tracker?

By the way, I got access to the online tracker by going through the Tulane website. Thanks, though.

well I applied on October 14th under EA and the website is still saying that they have not received my transcript but my school called about a week or so ago and they said that they have everything, they just need to process everyones stuff. dunno, just wish they’d hurry it up a little but then again patience is a virtue =) ill keep y’all updated

Does anyone know where it’s buried. My son applied several weeks, has not received his logon email (or perhaps he did and it’s obscurely buried).

Mine takes a long time already!!!

Tulane received all of my application material on Nov.16, how long do you think it will be till I get a decision?
