Which would be the best internship to accept. All have to do with engineering.

Computer assistant at Welch Allyn, Inc. (you do a lot of research and seems interesting)

Prototyping and Testing Optical Displays System with Rockwell Collins Head-Up Guidance Systems. )Seems like the most fun but don’t know if its worth it)

Tripwire inc. Computer Science. (seems really hard but will be a great experience).

Tell us more about the 3rd one--you didn't provide a job description like you did for the first two.

1 sounds iffy. Computer assistant? I'm wary of jobs with titles like that because it sounds like it would involve busywork like data entry.

2 sounds the same. The job description is more interesting than the job itself. Testing optical displays systems? Like...looking at a screen?

Okay so in number 1:
The apprentice researches in applying technology to health care. Anything from performance measurements of signal pathways, systems behavior in dynamic wireless connectivity environments, radio interference avoidance and more. A lot of experiments.

In Number 2:
Apprentice will be in optical engineering deparment. I will research, investigate, and experiment with one or more of the following: LCDs, light sources, LEDs, projectors, relay lens objects. I may design and build my own working model of an HUD (Heads-Up Display).

In Number 3:
Software testing was apprenticeship description

I will work with the quality Assurance Test Automation Lead in the research and development department. The apprentice will learn about software development, basic software test theory, and hands on experience with yet to be released software products. I will assist in testing software and submit reports and more.

I hope that's enough info. Thank you and hopefully you can provide me with some insight. I am interested in engineering and exploring all possibilities.

Are you a student? Are all of these actually offered to you? Which one seems most interesting to you? Do any of these pay? Which is closest to where you are living?
