Hi everyone! My question is, should you include all of your activities, even the ones that didn't really go anywhere (such as a year or two of JV sports as an underclassman)? I'm asking from a strategical more than a technical angle. Thanks!

I attached a document that was several pages. My most prominent activities tended to be my 12-10th grade years and I listed extra cirriculars and started listing down my activities from 12th grade downward by grade and significance. A lot of people do that. That way, my insignificant activities were at the bottom of the list (they were mainly done as an underclassmen). I listed just about all my activities; I’m not sure if it hurt me or not, but hey, I spent hours working on a club I only did for a year, but that’s still hours I want to tell college about.

Thanks, zinthafan!

That’s really good advice. Thanks!
