I was an exchange student in America two years ago and I was wondering if I should sent the colleges I'm applying to those grades as well... They're good, 4 As, 1 A- and 1 A+ (i took French IV, Trig, AP US History, Choir, Journalism and English) so yeah. Would colleges be interested in seeing them?
Also, I only have my last report card, not an official transcript, can I send in that?

Also, I thought I only had to send them my translated transcript, but someone told me I should send the schools both a translation and an official one. Which one should my counselor upload to common app?

Thanks for answering :)

If you haven't done so already, you need to go read some of the threads in the International Student forum. You can reach it by clicking on "Discussion Home" in the upper left of this screen and then scrolling down.

You also should take a look at the EducationUSA website International Students - EducationUSA
and you should make an appointment with their counselors at the advising center closest to you EducationUSA These people are the real experts on helping students from your country find the right college/university in the US.

Ultimately, you will have to produce an original transcript as well as a translated transcript, so you need to find out what counts as an original transcript in your country. And, yes, send information about the grades you earned during your year as an exchange student. They are part of your permanent academic record.
