Include hobbies like dirt biking or snowboarding?

<p>Say on the common app for example, would I want to include that I participate in these?</p>

<p>Maybe even write an essay about it?</p>

<p>I dont know just seems possibly different</p>

<p>Or is that kind of thing just... eh... ya know?</p>

<p>If it matters, I am thinking about Stanford, Dartmouth, Penn, USC, UCLA, Duke... am ranked 2/700, and at a 2250</p>

<p>remember it's a marketing campaign about yourself. sell your positives. let them know as much about you as you can. the more you distinguish yourself from the rest of the pack, the more your chances improve.</p>
