I got 2 C's in AP Biology my sophomore year. This was because the school had filled my class with 45 students in one period instead of 2 separate periods. The school later admitted their flaw and split the class up into two periods the following year.

Should i squeeze this into my appeal even though it is off topic. (which was focused on improvement from year to year)

EDIT: What do i need to include in my letter for the committee to recognize me? Name obviously. But what about address, application ID, UCLA student ID, etc. (I would like to save as much space as possible)

That’s a poor excuse. My IB Bio class had over 40, as with my IB English class. I did fine in both, and if I didn’t it would have been my fault, not the class size. Do you think that would bode well in an appeal to a school that has freshman classes of WELL over 40?

good point. I guess i won’t include that. Can anyone answer my other question?

I included my uc id, date of birth, and social security number. good luck!

I’m reluctant to use my SSN. And if my memory is correct, your SSN wasn’t required in the application process. I’m going to put my address, UCLA ID, and application ID i guess.

Thanks. I had used that website to help my appeal letter.

“Include your UC application ID number in your letter and submit it with all accompanying materials (i.e. seventh semester grades or a letter of recommendation) in a single envelope.”

This was from the Berkeley appeal website.
