I'm writing a transfer essay for a school that I was rejected from freshman year. I was thinking about mentioning this and then tying it in with the whole idea that I am persistent and really have a true desire to go to the school, but I've gotten different opinions from people about whether to do this or not. I want them to know that I'm passionate, but I don't want them to necessarily remember that they already rejected me once. What should I do?

I think that this would be risky, as it could remind them why they rejected you in the first place!

I agree with the poster above.
