<p>This is probably a really dumb question, but do you include a word count at the bottom of your essays when you send them in?</p>

<p>nah… i don’t think that’ll be necessary.
When you’ve been reading essays for a long long time,
you know approximately how many words there are per page.
Besides, going 5 or 6 words over won’t hurt you.
If it’s around 1000 words, that’s when the admissions officers will most likely start to get tired of it.</p>
<p>No, it’s fine. They honestly don’t care if you go over like 10%.</p>
