Including first choice in my app?

<p>I'm applying to a college that's a bit of a reach for me out of state, but if I get accepted, I'll probably die happy. Would it help/hurt my chances if I include in the Additional Comments section that it's my first choice, so I'll definitely go if accepted? If so, any tips on wording it?</p>

<p>Many schools don’t take into account demonstrated interest. Others will look for it in “Why” essays and perhaps ED (if offered). You should not blatantly say it’s your first choice.</p>
