<p>Is income a factor in UC admissions? I know UCSD adds points for low-income under the ‘hardships’ category, but do other UCs? Furthermore, how would a UC determine if somebody was low income if incomes are not reported on the UC app? Unless I’m mistaken.</p>
<p>If income is not reported, then income won’t be considered. </p>
<p>If income is reported and the student is considered low-income, that is taken into consideration. </p>
<p>If income is reported and the student is not considered low-income, then the income won’t be considered.</p>
