Hello! I am going to be attending NYU this coming fall. I applied and got accepted to Steinhardt but I have come to realize over the past few months that I would be better off creating my own major and would therefore would better benefit attending Gallatin. Is it possible for me, as an incoming freshman, to change my major before my arrival in the fall?
You can try to contact an advisor at the school and see what they have to say. Chances are, you’ll have to complete a year before transferring
yeah, it’s unlikely that you can easily change, because then people could cheat the system by applying to a different college and then transfer.
