Incoming Junior Help

Hi everyone. I am going to be a Junior soon and I need some help regarding colleges. Here is some information about me:
- I have a 3.6 unweighted gpa (I'm in no honors or ap's, but I am in Calculus which is two years ahead of standard).
- I am assuming i will get around a 2200 on the SAT because I have been studying and taken numerous practice tests.
- I go to a very competitive private catholic school.
- I am in the school jazz band and in another band at school directed by the principal so I can probably get a good recommendation from him.
- I participated in a christian service program at school both sophomore and freshman year and will be a leader of the group my junior year.
-I played tennis freshman year (no sports for the rest of the year)
-I am in no clubs.
-I am Indian, but last name is "Fernandez" yeah weird.

Basically i have an average gpa with a pretty good SAT score (assuming) and i dont have many e.c's.

Right now I want to get a business degree-maybe accounting. I want to know if I have a chance at USC, UCSD,UCLA, and Santa Clara University as a backup. Thank you.
-Chris

Do you go to AM?
I think if you raise your GPA you will have a chance at UCLA. As for the other schools, you are likely to get in to each of them.

bump…

3.6 unweighted is not an average gpa that’s pretty good (if you took any hard classes at all) language classes are hard IMHO and to most colleges.

Take some AP classes and really unless you are taking SAT practice tests that were real SATs then your SAT practice test scores will be way off. And without any ECs you will have trouble with any college.

No offense but especially because you are Indian you will have trouble getting into colleges unless you get involved in things. Plenty of Indian kids have 4.0 GPA’s and 2400 sat scores so you need to stand out! Good luck!
