<p>Hey all. I recently decided that I hate everything UIUC is about. The campus is nowhere near as diverse as I thought it would be, and the place is nothing beautiful to look at compared to the city. I'm a premedical student currently and biology student. I am on a track to enter medical school by my senior year. That said, my parents are financially disowning me for this decision. That's fine. I'm willing to work while going to school in the city - my true home. My question is this: Which would be cheaper, DePaul or UIC? I think I'd prefer to go to DePaul, but it looks like the most I can expect is 6000 off the tuition to bring it down to 28000 a year, which is nowhere near my budget. Is this really the only aid DePaul offers? If so, should I look at UIC instead? Or perhaps even Loyola? </p>
