Assuming a Good Essay and Based only on the scores that I have and not what might come out soon, and keeping in mind minority status, please chance for:

Harvard (legacy)
Columbia
U Penn
Georgetown
Duke
Notre Dame
Vanderbilt
Rice
Cornell
Fordham
NYU

You seem to be in the right range for your ethnic group for all of the schools, especially for harvard since you have a legacy. and I’m pretty sure you won’t even have to apply to any of those schools if you apply early to Harvard (probs will get in). The only problem you MAY face is your income. If you are rich (hence the private school), it may be a problem bc schools of that caliber usually take poor minorities( thts where their financial aid money goes)

That won’t be an issue: i go to the school on scholarship and aid so i think im fine in that department. Just so I kno, is the legacy effect the same if my parent attended a Harvard grad school but not the undergrad college

Quick Correction: GPA weighted is only 4.0. hope that doesnt change anything. Also, with regards to my GPA, how much does it help that my Jr year was a major bounce back from Soph year?

tht helps a lot. improvement…especially dramatic improvement helps A LOT. im not sure about the legacy tho. does ur parent donate a lot to the school, or are they a prominent alumnus? dont worry about the GPA, bc its too late to fix anything with tht now, just make sure ur essays and recs are good and im sure u can get into many, if not all, of the schools u listed.
