<p>So I transferred from a CC on a semester system with a total of 118 units. I already have an idea of what classes to take in the two years I have over at UCSD. So to those who are already students of UCSD or anyone else for that matter, do you think it's viable for me to take just 12 units of classes every quarter? I have no idea of the severity of the workload at UCSD, and I just want to play it safe and get the best grades possible...thanks for any replies.</p>
<p>Do you have 118 semester or quarter units? I’m assuming quarter units, since that would be a lot of units if semester. If you took 12 units a quarter you would end up with 190 quarter units, which is ten more then needed to graduate. So as long as you can get in all your major and college req. in, you should be able to take 12 units no problem.</p>
