For what it’s worth, it’s never a very good idea to make personality appraisals on the basis of impersonal message board posts.

Thank you, Lobzz. That was an epic of a thread. I might have even got an 800 in Writing if I had found that sooner…

Mifune, do you still visit CC occasionally? Long time, no post. :)

That thread mostly revealed the collective hostility towards nonconformity.

Haven’t seen him on here in a long time. Harvard tends to keep it’s children busy, it seems :D

I still squander substantial amounts of time message-boarding, but I haven’t been frequenting this one. (I haven’t checked College Confidential since early January.) I basically came to read and respond to any messages I received and I’ll browse a few threads of interest later on.

A random thread about an incomplete application counts as a “thread of interest?”

My username was mentioned, so this attracted my interest.

I previously found your e-persona to be rather dull and mirthless. Your response to christiansoldier’s (hilarious) post had me chuckling for a good five minutes.

It was a compliment, and I’m glad my comment prompted you to post again :). You have been missed during your hiatus.

Regardless of what you might think about certain anonymous personalities on Internet forums (even if it’s positive), you can’t draw specific character conclusions because you don’t know them. I prefer to limit my CC postings to academic- and school-related matters, or at least join decent conversations or debates on occasion, so if I’m the slightest bit apt to horse around, I don’t feel CC is the most appropriate outlet.

Perhaps in this thread, but, in general, that wasn’t actually the case.

Regardless, those days are behind me.

And okay, I’ll just keep convincing myself I was the catalyst for your return.

You come back and just do searches for your username?

Silverturtle does that, I think. If you say his name, he might appear in your thread.

^ Hogwash!

It worked! It’s just like the State Farm commercials.

Haha I like those commercials. :)
