Incomplete courses for GeorgiaTech&Cornell?

Hi guys
I'm planning to apply to Georgia Tech, Cornell, and **University of Washington/B majoring in industrial engineering.
The question I have is if I would not complete one physic class, which is prerequisite for the major, by the spring semester prior to enroll in those universities; will there be no chance to get admitted??? How hard would that be to give it a shot for those schools from a California community college?

I have overall 3.9 GPA.
As for EC: I don't really have as many spectacular ECs as you guys do, but one thing I’ll focus on my essay with one of my ECs is that I'm running the company with 11patents in a foreign country.

PS: I’m international student

Admission preference is given to applicants who have successfully completed (or are in the process of completing) all required courses for transfer. If you are applying for admission to the fall semester then courses you plan to take over the summer are usually not acceptable.

Your application might still be considered by the admissions committee…but be aware that you are competing with strong applicants who have completed all of the transfer requirements.
