At my school (and in my state I believe) we have to do a graduation project by the end of our senior year. Most people get it done by 10th grade. For various reasons I still have not gotten it done, so I think it showed up as an incomplete on my original transcript and then my mid year report which was just sent out. When I finish the project (hopefully by Tuesday) and the teacher grades it, should I ask my guidance counselor to send out a note to the colleges I applied to say that I got an outstanding or satisfactory on it? (It doesn't get a real grade) Or would it just draw attention to it?
Thank you!

please? This is really important for me, and I don't know what to do...

I'd suggest speaking directly to an admissions counselor at the schools you've applied to and see how they suggest you handle it. Each school may react differently. I would let them know that the project has been submitted, and is awaiting grading (if that in fact has been done).

Based on the answer each school gives you (each may have different timetables in making admission decisions) you'll have to notify your GC and follow up that the updated info is transmitted to each school in a timely fashion.

The incomplete on your interim report may generate an inquiry from a college to your GC, it may not.

It would serve your best interest to be proactive rather than reactive given the timing of acceptance deadlines.

Good luck to you.

thank you for your answer! that's a really good idea :)
