um...what about the incomplete??
well the peer recommendation is a student/friend writing a letter of recommendation for you...darmonth does it...i think a few other schools does it as well.

When did you send your SAT II scores to Rice, owlgirl? If it's been a long time, I suggest you give them a call or e-mail them about it. If they say they really don't have it and it's not a matter of application site lag, then send your scores again.

i guess i should do that...but how? i mean...are they going to trust me? i dont know if i can just say what i made or whatever..also, i dont have money to be resending scores...i used my free ones

I'm sure they'll trust you if you say that you sent them, but they didn't receive them. (for example, didn't you get a collegeboard confirmation e-mail about sending scores?)

Just contact them first. If you don't have money to resend your scores, ask Rice if you can fax a copy of your scores to them. I did this for another school that I applied to, so maybe it'll be okay with Rice, too.

Take a deep breath (if you can) owlgirl. Take the time honored, old-fashioned route. Pick up the phone and call the SAT people. Be prepared with your confirmation number, which i'm confidant :-) that you must have. Be prepared to wait onhold and through their stupid phone tree forever, but take advantage of this time to blow your nose frequently. Find out if it was actually sent and if it actually was find out when. If it was actually sent, explain your situation and see if they will resend, expedited at no charge, as the school has not received it. If you don't like the answer, very politely ask for someone else who will have the ability to do this for you. Keep asking.

If you are able to accomplish this call Rice immediately and let them know that it is on its way. If you were unable to get this done, ask Rice if you can fax them a copy of your form immediately. Explain that you are unable to afford to have them resent, although I believe that you can have the cost waived if you qualify.

This of course assumes that you actually had the scores sent originally and did not unintentionally bubble in the form requesting that they be sent to your nearest community college. ;-)

I think you can work this out. As usual, owlgirl, not to worry........
