So I was reading this site and noticed a couple of inconsistancies:

They said that the average composite SAT is 1900, but if you add the lower 25% numbers, this equals 1870. So is Michigan inflating their numbers to look good?

They also said that the lower 25% GPA is 3.7. This seems inconsistant with many threads where people said they got into Ross (possibly the hardest school to get into at Mich) with a 3.6. So my question is are they using the overall GPA for this part, or the Umich GPA?

This is a question: Does Umich care that much about the writing section on the new SAT, or do they just use the new math and verbal sections and use the 1600 score?

Please answer my questions, and if you haven’t replied to my other post, please do so if you want.

Michigan's average composite SAT is much higher than 1900. The mid-50% is 1900-2160. I know it may be a typo on your part, but I don't want to leave it unchallenged.

How many?

they don't really weigh the writing section too heavily

That may be true for last year. Many schools didn't count writing last year. Are you sure that's still true this year? Did they hint at that at the information session?

Essays/Business related EC's are EXTREMELY important for getting into ROSS. Your stats matter, but not nearly as much as they do in other schools

Ross pre-admit acceptance rate was 16% last year and the acceptance rate for sophomore admits was 47% (but this applicant pool is more self-selecting). The average Ross freshman GPA was 3.6, but the prerequisites include Econ 101 and Math 115 (or higher), which have steeper curves than most freshman courses... and some refer to these classes as the Ross weeder courses, especially Econ 101.
