On my common app, I left out certain ECs b/c I thought they were minor, i.e. random clubs that really won't make a difference. I had the chance to see one of my teacher recs, and everything in the rec is fine except my teacher mentions two of the clubs that I left out in the common app's EC section and an additional activity sheet (just the names of the club, not any details). Will this raise any flags? It's just that I was part of the club when I asked the teacher for the rec, and I quit it later since I lost interest, but I didn't know that he would mention my activities in the rec (all teachers ask for student activities/interests when asked for a rec). Or maybe I'm just thinking too much into this? I already submitted all my apps and recs

Here’s the question: Did you fill up all 10 EC spots on the app? If so, I think it’d demonstrate that you are involved in even more than the 10 spots which should be fine.

If not, then it’s a little concerning but it shouldn’t be the end of the world. You can always speak to the admissions office to clarify and see if they can make note of the extra activities you participate in!

Well, I checked again, and I filled in 6 EC spots, 3 of which are related to working full time and part time, 1 club that is very important to me, and 2 that are moderately important. However, it turns out that my teacher only mentioned 1 club that I left out, and even if I listed that club in the common app, it would be the least important activity (I did it for recreational purposes, but then left it because I wanted to spend more time on other activities). I don’t think it will be a problem
