Inconsistency

Hmm...not to dwell on scores again but how would a score of 2280 compare to the 2300s....lol I think I'm losing confidence as this thread progresses.... On the plus side, I have successfully curtailed the superfluous vocabulary

Everyone I knew with a score of 2250+ was admitted to one or more ivy league school. 2280's great.

honestly? how jobless are you!! your score is fine for any ivy, so they wont even bother with your "inconsistency." I do hope your not so paranoid because you are some kind of nerd who has only his SAT scores to cling onto! If not, awsm! you dont have to even bother if u have all those ECs and good reccomendations etc.. If u r that kind of a nerd, still your score is excellent so dont bother! concentrate more on your application than your SATs cuz u seemed to have raped the latter. Pardon me if i sound harsh, but Im just calling it as it is.

Quite the contrary on my outlook on the SAT score . Like I mentioned in the first post, I believe that the SAT is but a facet of the admissions process. In fact, I personally believe they might not even have as much weight as many of the other factors considered on an application. Unfortunately, collegeconfidential, as resourceful as it is, also has had a hand in making me a much more depressed and paranoid individual as of late.

Honestly, 2250 is a very high score. only about 11,000 have that score or better. There is a large difference between a 2100 and a 2250, much larger than a 2250 and a 2400.

lol thats excellent... dont bother about college confidential - it wont make or brake your application.. You seemed to have done well and your application will take you there.. good luck!

^ I believe it's "break"

Sorry, just a pet peeve.
