Incorrect Recommendation Status for Common App

My teacher assured me that he is almost finished with my Common App recommendation, but when I log in it still says “not started”. I haven’t had this problem with any of my other recommenders, and when I contacted the Common App help center they said that my recommender must not have started my recommendation. I’m going to double check with my teacher tomorrow, but has anyone else had this issue with the recommendation status not updating properly? If so, how did you fix it?

He most likely is doing it like the rest of us - writing it in MS Word and when he is finished, he will cut and paste. You can certainly remind him of the deadline, but I doubt that this is his first rodeo.
