<p>ok so ive been typing the wrong social security number in each one of my college applications, and im looking forward for financial aid. what can i do to help solve this problem? is my college future over? :/

<p>Call each college and tell the office your situation, they will put a note on your application with the change. Some colleges send information-confirmation emails to make sure your basic info was inputted correctly…but I only got that from one or two I applied to. Basically, it’s not big deal…just CALL. And make sure to get your social security number right on the CSS and FAFSA forms =]</p>

<p>Please be careful in the future to use the correct number. It can really mess up official things like financial aid, etc. Your SSN is how the gov’t attaches data (earnings, taxes, FA) to you.</p>
