increase SAT score 400 points

i want to take the SAt for the 4th time and increase by 400 points. has anyone done that or is that never going to happen

Taking the SAT for the forth time is already pushing it…

What are you improving from?
I took both of my SATs with a lack of sleep (0 and 1 to be specific) and improved 390 points
from the June SAT to the October SAT.

increase by 400 points, u mean ur 3rd SAT + 400 = 4th SAT??
uh no,that’s not likely to happen. 1st SAT+400= 4th SAT possible.

Nope. I think they’d actually investigate you for cheating if you went up so drastically on a 4TH!!! time… lol…

1) Have you recently stopped smoking crack?
2) Have you recently started smoking crack?

If the answer to either of these questions is yes, then maybe. If not, then no. . . probably not.

Hey, I believe in her. Plus, we don’t know where she’s improving from.

1200-1600 yes. Just learn the techniques.

1600-2000 Maybe.

1800-2200 Unlikely, but not impossible.

2000-2400 . LOL.

^ but its his fourth time, if he was going to improve from a 1600 it would have happened by now.

@ OP
I think you’d be better off taking the ACT

I did that and I’m the lazy type :]

anyways, the only way to score drastically higher is to take the test right after you sky dived. The adrenaline in your blood will heighten your sense.

“2000-2400”

i know a friend who went from 2080 to 2400… so it is possible

^but after three previous attempts, i wouldn’t think so…?

If he didn’t prepare at all, his score would’ve been similar on all three attempts. Thus, starting to prepare now would essentially be the same as starting to prepare after the first try.

^That’s not necessarily true. My score went up 170 points without preparing. Focus and how you feel on the test day makes a huge difference. Getting a good night’s sleep and making sure you keep your concentration can make a huge difference.

^that’s not true all the time.

“2000-2400”

i know a friend who went from 2080 to 2400… so it is possible

OTZ!!!! Cow boy ~~

You know a friend that increased 400 points? Well, does the friend that you happen to know increase 400 points on his fourth try? 3rd try? Was he at 2080 in his 3rd try? Most likely not. So shh. I Also happen to know a friend that increased 950 points. Me.

I agree with thiscouldbeheaven.
First time i took it, I studied pretty hard and only got 1960.
Second time i didn’t study at all, and got…2100!!!

950 points?!
what did you get man

121 in PSAT
Took things more seriously, and got 2160 on the SAT.
