Quick Questions: My current weighted GPA is 2.4687...and I need to bring it up to a 3.0, is it possible to do that in one year? (I'm a junior about to start senior year)

And my other question is, what year do I apply to colleges? Is it senior year? So does that mean colleges will see my 3.0 GPA instead of my old one?

oh and senior year I'm taking AP Chem and AP English.

does your school have a counselor of some sort? if so i suggest you talk to them...

Well that would of been the first thing on my list, but obviously she's not much help. She wears black makeup and has five earrings along with a punchy attitude towards males. So I tried talking to the other counselors but they won't help 'cause all they say is "go see your counselor". Then I tried calling my sister at Reed but she's not responding either, so now my last resort is here...

You need to find somebody at your school to talk to.

I don't think pulling it up to a 3.0 is possible in one year. You'll get very close though if you make straight A's - 2.9791.

You apply to colleges fall of senior year. So they will see your GPA through the end of junior year.

It's good that you're taking the initiative to take AP classes. Keep it up. And again try to find somebody near you to talk to about this stuff.
