INCREDIBLY DEPRESSED...what do I do?

Haiku, ditto on the scholarships. I know because we always have to check since son is a permanent resident. For the vast majority, YOU MUST be a permanent resident (and some require full citizenship.) The sad truth is that in reality, you either HAVE a greencard and status, or you DON"T -- there's really no in between from a legal perspective.

In your original post you asked for honest advice. Given the very shaky variables you've described and a general sense that your due dilligence is neither complete nor within your control, I strongly suggest you defer your acceptance for one year and work during the gap. It would be very distracting to have all this going on and actually not muck things up either financially or academically at school.
I trust with your determination to succeed, you will, but perhaps patience is the best course in this case.
Again, good luck.

Perhaps the college will hold your spot for a year and you can live with your parents and work/save, get your legal problems settled and apply for FAFSA next year (and enter college one year later than expected).

I agree with jerzgrlmom.

^ Yeah, perhaps, I will contact UCI about it... couldn't get a hold of them today.

IF this is any importance, 20 of the scholarships I applied doesn't require residency/citizenship and some of these 20 are for internationals, 2 are even made for undocumented students (those range from 1K-3K each)

lol

I'll see my financial situation with UCI and get back to u guys ASAP!
