Ind study classes

<p>My s' senior schedule:
Ap calc bc ( ind study)
Ap stat( ind study)
Ap psychology (indy study)
Ap micro Macroecon (ind study)
Ap french (test only)
Ap govt ( class)
Ap Lang (class)</p>

<p>How will having so many independently study classes affect him? He is only doing so because he has already taken all the ap classes his school offers and has no other choice but to self-study. Thus, his transcript will have he ind classes but he will not receive grades until he completes a project fourth term.</p>

<p>***for french he doesn’t receive credit (aka not on transcript) because it doesn’t fit into his schedule and he’ll only take the ap test for it.</p>

<p>This is something that the counselor should be explaining in the counselor letter. He could include the information in an “anything else we should know category.” Since he really didn’t have a choice, it shouldn’t be counted against him. The fact that he’s willing to tackle the classes on his own is positive.</p>
