<p>I cant decide between these 2 schools; they are so similar, can someone please help seperate out the pluses and minuses of each of them and compare and contrast!</p>

<p>Well it depends on what you want to study. They are both very, very strong schools. Additionally, IU has very high placement into their medical/law schools. But like I said, I would compare the programs that you are planning on going into.</p>
<p>Although Penn State is the “#1 party school in the nation,” you’ll have a better time at IU. I have friends at both, and overall (on both academic and social levels), friends are much, much happier at IU. The overwhelming East Coast/Philly population at Penn State makes for much less friendly vibe - and this is coming from a Boston native at IU.</p>
