I am currently a student at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. This year, I was admitted as a transfer student to to the University of Connecticut. UCONN has always been my top choice but it is going to cost around $50,000 next year for an out-of-state student (UMN is around $30,000). My family and I were not awarded any financial aid and I have heard that UCONN rarely gives out scholarships to transfer students. Is UCONN really worth that amount of money? I plan on going to graduate school immediately after undergrad and I do not want to come out with insane amounts of student debt. Suggestions? Advice? Anything is appreciated!

IMO UConn is not worth the cost differential. And if you are still a dependent, state residency is based on your parents and you would pay OOS all years at UConn:
